Aging with Comfort has acquired Non-Medical, Personal Home Care Provider in Pennsylvania

Client: Founded in 2014 and based in Philadelphia, PA, Aging with Comfort (“AWC”) is a leading provider of non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled in the state of Pennsylvania. The majority of AWC’s caregivers are family members - a unique and emerging, consumer-directed model in non-medical home care. In April 2021, AWC was recapitalized by a SBIC capital syndicate consisting of Petra Capital Partners, Capital Alignment Partners, NewSpring, and Tecum Capital in partnership with Silver Palm Capital Healthcare Partners.

Role: Edgemont Partners acted as exclusive financial advisor to Aging with Comfort on its acquisition of a regional in-home care provider focused primarily on the Medicaid Waiver population with three locations serving patients across the greater Philadelphia Metro area.
