Professional Experience
I joined Edgemont in 2025 to pursue my passion for advising companies that make an impact in healthcare. Though classically trained as an M&A banker, I’ve always found the greatest fulfillment in supporting mission-driven businesses that touch lives.
Previously, I was a Director at The DAK Group, a middle market investment bank focused on M&A, private placements, restructuring, and valuations. I began as a generalist before specializing in healthcare and technology, with a focus on post-acute care, behavioral health, healthcare IT, and IT services. Before DAK, I worked at Nexus Capital Markets on cross-border M&A and financings across the EMEA region. I also spent time in fintech at Broadridge Financial Solutions, where I completed the management training program and later held a management role. My career began in sales.
I hold an MBA in Finance and International Business and a B.A. in Government and History from St. John’s University, along with Series 63 and 79 licenses.
Accomplishments
Throughout my career, I’ve advised a range of clients from private equity firms and century-old family businesses to husband-and-wife founders who built their companies from the ground up. These experiences have reinforced one truth: that business runs on relationships.
While my primary objective in every engagement is to maximize the value, structure, and terms in a transaction, the greatest reward comes from the relationships that I build with my clients. Being entrusted with the future of someone’s business is a profound responsibility, and the bond that forms over the course of an engagement often lasts long after the deal closes. When your clients continue to call you years after their deal is done, you know you’ve developed a special relationship.
Successful client outcomes cannot be achieved without a great team. Helping my junior colleagues to develop into capable leaders is one of the most gratifying parts of my career.
Outside of Work
I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, training on the Olympic rings, running, reading, and playing video games. One of my favorite books is Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow – there’s something powerful about having “conversations with the dead” through biography.
I’m blessed to have a wonderful wife who is an incredible designer, an energetic daughter, and “three” awesome cats – Brad, Gus, and Hugo.
