Dan Nicholson

Before joining Edgemont in 2024, I spent 13 years in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Jefferies, where my primary focus was advising clients in the Medical Technology and Dental Products sectors. Throughout this tenure, my expertise centered on executing mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic transactions, culminating in over 65 successful deals totaling more than $27.5 billion in aggregate value. Prior to my tenure at Jefferies, I held positions at C.R. Bard and KPMG, which provided a solid foundation for developing my corporate finance skillset. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Saint Peter’s College. Additionally, I hold series 63 and 79 securities licenses. 

I take great pride in serving as a trusted advisor to clients as they make critical decisions and navigate transformational events. Each transaction presents its own set of circumstances, options, and challenges, providing continual opportunities for my personal and professional growth. Witnessing my clients attain success is profoundly fulfilling and has played a crucial role in fostering long-lasting relationships. Building such enduring connections, especially with clients across multiple transactions, stands as a testament to my proudest achievements as a professional. 

I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and daughter, exploring the parks and culinary scene of New York City. Outside of family time, I find relaxation in playing basketball, supporting the Knicks, and traveling, particularly across Europe.
